Matt is an independent recording engineer and mixer; the engineer of choice for producers such as Joe Rubel (Ed Sheeran, Maisie Peters, dodie), Charlie Andrew (Alt-J, Marika Hackman), James Dring (Gorillaz, Sorry), and Ben Christophers (Bat For Lashes, Françoise Hardy).
First getting his hands on the faders at Real World Studios while on a year out from the Tonmeister Degree, Matt became Head Engineer at Monnow Valley Studio, where he learned his craft under the great producers that came through, including studio partner/all-round legend Andrew Scheps.
Now based in London, Matt aims to capture unique sounds and contribute to an atmosphere of experimentation on sessions. His recent engineering and mixing work has collected 100+ million streams.
